Best place to eat. staff very helpful and friendly wide selection of cooked foods

The food was yum! We came here most nights of our second week and for breakfast just before we left for the airport, prices were cheap and waiters were friendly.

Quality place! Ate hear most days for breakfast, cant beat the Farmhouse (best fry up on the island!)

Simply the Best !!!

The food here was supreme. Every meal we had was perfect.

See you again in October for our wedding !!!

The food is the best in Laganas and above all other restaurants.  The service was so much better as it is a family run business.  We went to Michael's everyday during our stay and found it the most enjoyable.

I recommend it to anyone who enjoys quality food and friendly environment.

Family owned restaurant.  This is definitely the best restaurant in Zante.

Michael and his family made us feel so special.

Great choices from menu, but they will also change any dish to suit your taste.

I will certainly be back as Michael's Place is the best value and quality around.

Everyday my family, my friends and I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at Michael's  Place.  When I go back to Zante, Michael's Place will be the first and the only place I will go to eat.

Been to Laganas 4 year running - always eat here. Brilliant food cooked by mum! Had english and greek dishes all fantastic. The red house wine goes down a treat before during and after the meal. Had the usual stifado, kleftiko and steaks/chicken in various sauces, or just a lovely buttery jacket potato or soup at lunchtimes. The sunday roast is beautiful and plenty of it too. Very clean place and friendly efficient staff,I have recommended here to alot of people and asked how they got an and no one has complained so try it please -
tell them Adam sent you. coca cola light please Al!

Food was average, only ate here once for breakfast.

Was here in September 04, great place to go! Staff really friendly, great service, great food. What more can i say!!

stayed away from this place cus of reading comments before i went on holiday but got persuaded after nearly two weeks of banter with the 'doorman'! he's good laugh and food was ace.....had braised lamb and the girlfriend loved the spinach pie. Good price and felt chilled and ready for the rest of night. One of many good places to eat and will deffo go again when next in laganas

i don't know what everyone is going on about...michaels place is fantastic....food is lovely, the grilled feta cheese is soooo yummy. the staff are all friendly abd helpful, and babis on the door is scrummy...i totally recommend this place, we went loads and was excellent every time......x

Have eaten here a few times over the years we have stayed in Laganas/Kalamaki.

Food quite nice and generous portions but feel that the prices are a little steeper than other restaurants within the vicinity.

good food,good prices...and Paul(on the door) if your working here in 2004 we will meet up and have that drink it's been three years now and your always working..you'll know who it is as we were the couple that used to leave you a little something from home every time we passed,that put a smile on your face..remember??

This restaurant is for people who want a typical bucket and spade holiday who want to eat exactly the same as at home. Burgers and chips, in fact everything with chips! But beware, don't ask for burger with chips cos they seem to think that "burger" means both anyway, and if you ask for burger and chips you'll get a burger and chips and chips! I dunno if they were taking the michael(!) or if they really thought that we wanted two portions of chips. Food was ok but wouldn't go back.

we ate only once while on a day trip and the food was okay waited ages asked for a pizza with no peppers and it turned up coved in them.
would not go back found it really pricey

we went here during the day and bought a few burgers and chips - waited for ages for the food by which time our drinks were cold and the burgers were like cardboard - the only place i ate that i didn't leave a tip.

Definatly think that most of the people on this page are talking about a different resturant!! Had several breakfasts here, and a wicked sunday roast, which eased my through a killer hangover nicely! Found service prompt, friendly and efficient. Would recommend 'Micheals Place' to anyone visiting Laganas. Price was good too.

I agree with Lou - what are you guys on about! This restaurant's great! The waiters ARE fast and smiley and the food is nice (though i always opted for a meal from the Childrens section - you get just as much for only 3 euros!!!)

had an english breakfast and two meals here-all really nice and didn't fing the prices too bad and the waiters were all fast and smiley wot u all going on about were we at the same place? give it a try and find out 4 ur selves it was good.

We only ate here once service was very slow. We waited at least 30-40 mins for our meal to arrive was nice enough when it eventaully came, however for 2 main courses and 1 round of drinks it was nearly 30 euros making it one of our most expensive

We found that the food here was nice. I had Klefticos, which is a traditional greek dish. I was a shoulder of lamb slowly cooked with the veg in tinfoil. It is served in its tinfoil as well. Meat very tender and piping hot. Very tasty.

Have eaten here on a couple of occasions whilst visiting Zante. Food has always been nice and one thing which is a novelty on Zante, the food was piping hot. They do a mean jacket potato if you ever get sick of chips as they normally come with everything!! Slightly more expensive than other restaurants. That cockney can sometimes be annoying as every night you pass him he tries to pull you in. If you want to eat somewhere it's because you choose to not because someone wants to drag you in!!

A nice restaurant with a big variety of food to choose from. Was always full when we passed by. My pizza wasn't nice but my mates had Moussaka and another Greek dish and they loved it. Top waiter/tout bloke called Paul who tries to drag you inside the place. He's orginally from South Norwood, South London, so have a chat with him!

Eaten here twice. Would definately rcommend this place if you've had enough of Greek food (as if). Plenty of English style food there which I've had both times. It is good to try Greek food but would definately come here again for a little bit of English

Meal was OK, but not worth the 45 minute wait!
Young girls with no clothes on got served before us, even though they got there after us. Waiters were really sleazy.

21 euros for a pizza, a greek salad & 2 cokes!!! We couldn't afford to eat here again!

The dinner was very good. We went there 5 times on our 2 week holiday. I definetely recommend the food & the WAITERS !!!!!!!!

Why does everybody like this place? The burgers were thinner than McDonalds and the buns 3 times the size!! Waiters were slow and miserable.Crap!!! Would never eat there again!!!

If you like British food then this is the place to go. As we were in Greece obviously a bad choice! Mushroom and bacon starter had Oxo gravy poured all over and village sausage (which we thought was to be locally made) had a distinct familiarity about it (Mattesons smoked saugsage!). Chicken a la creme main course included frozen chicken fillet - I do not use this at home and do not expect to be served this when dining out! Worst meal we have ever had - my advice - STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

good food, good price, but when we went there they were cleaning the floors with very strong bleach and water, in and around every table, even ours whilst we was eating!! but they were very quick - waiters seemed a little stressed to.

Ate here first proper night in town. Was nice food and service was good. Prices seemed to be same as rest of the resturants.

We went there on the first night and it was nice. We decided to go back another night and were bitterly disappointed. My wife's kebab had a long hair running through the middle!. When I complained, the waiter agreed to half the price of her meal, even though she had refused to eat any of the meat surrounding the offending hair. The guy on the door could not apologise enough, but the waiter could not give a monkeys!

I recommend the chicken curry!! Very nice restaurant with quite quick service when not too busy. Not much else to say, just that its worth visiting.

Food was great, although perhaps a little too English for us, it was well cooked and presented. The chicken fillet in pepper sauce was excellent. Because it's towards the busiest part of Laganas, it can get quite crowded in the evenings, but the staff seem to cope OK. The prices do seem to be higher than elsewhere, and I don't think these were justifiable, but a nice place, and you could certainly do a lot worse.

the meal wes very good but the drink wes a bit over priced we only ate here once as it was not as good as all the hype had sugested

Just got back from Laganas, and Michael's Place was definately the best place to eat. Everything was really nice and good prices too. Paul on the door is a good laugh too.

Went here twice in 2 weeks - food was nice and service good. Best of all is the fit guy who stands on the door!

This place was that good that we visited twice in one week.The barbacue chicked was fab so was the roast lamb and mint sauce.The staff were fab too!!!

Its a gr8 pace to eat with gud food but even if u dont like the food u'll definatly like the waiters!!!!!!!

The best restaurant in zante.The food was delicious and the waiters theo and danny were too.Watch out for Sunshine(paul)on the door,hes such a laugh.Strongly recomend it
