Thank you to everyone who has voted on this site, glad that everyone has enjoyed their time in the troc. Just to tell everyone where the troc is, we are at the top end of the village in planos in between Two Brothers bar and Ozzys bar. If you are in the bottom end of the village, come to Popeyes turn left head on up the hill for about ten minutes, going passed Planet Bar, The Red Lion and carry on and we are a bit further on up on the left between the two bars mentioned above.

Thanks again for everyone's comments and custom, we hope to see you again.

From all the staff at The Troc & John!!!!!!!

We found The Troc restaurant in the second week of our holiday and what a find it was!!!
The food was absolutely delicious and such a welcome change from some of the earlier restaurants we had tried.
The menu was very varied and all the meals were 'home cooked' the steak pie was a particular favourite with my family.
The Troc is a family run business and they provided us with true customer service on our visits.
During our stay it was my Dad's 60th Birthday and we asked if they could arrange a special meal in the evening to celebrate. John decorated around our table with banners, balloon's etc and even arranged a surprise birthday cake!
The whole family enjoyed a super evening, made even more memorable by the efforts of the staff at The Troc.

Consistently great food and excellent service, I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Thanks to all at The Troc

Tracey

For the second week of our holiday we went to the Troc every night and absolutely loved it - we had tried other places and were not very impressed but at the Troc the people are fantastic, really helpful and everything is freshly cooked - we tried nearly everything = to name but a few the cheesy garlic bread, prawn cocktails, liver and bacon, pork chop (identity problem with this it poses as a whole pig!), shepherds pie, steaks and the knickerbocker glory are all absolutely brilliant. Great food, great service, great prices and we will be going there again every night when we go back in September. Thanks John and crew from Les and Geoff (John - remember I was the lunatic trying to find out what was happening at Wimbledon all the time)

Only found this place towards the end of 3 weeks eating greek food. Excellent though our food had been I had steak pie chips peas and gravy and my wife had bangers, mash and onion gravy. Excellent but I think they should advertise more as we only found it after being given a flier on the beach.

Katherine C  (01 August 2002)

John G  (22 October 2001)

visited this place during our holiday after hearing good things about it. what a disappointment, half the menu was unavailable, what was available wasn't that appealing, service wasn't good, the food when it arrived was below average, and to cap it all one of the waiters/owners kept eyeing up my girlfriend and making smart a**e comments. avoid.

Fred M  (30 August 2001)

Brilliant sfaff and excellent food would definatly recomend it.

Mike C  (30 July 2001)

Taffy S  (03 July 2001)

Absolutely brilliant place. Noboby could be more helpful than John the owner. We go back time & time again.

Jane S  (11 June 2001)

Something for everyone - I can highly recommend the cheesy garlic bread, brekkies and the liver (as one customer told me) is 'the business'. Kid and adult friendy (lollies for the kids - although John is partial to them himself! and generous measures of metaxa for the grown ups!). So visit The Troc for delicious food, excellent service and friendly banter - miss it miss out!
