Other Things in Argassi

Only needed to use the connections a couple of times, and when we did there was no problem at all. In addition, my partner and I made this our regular last call towards the end of our holiday, as the ambience and clean lines were just right for conversation and winding down.

Lorna S  (16 August 2002)

really was very good speed, staff, amount of computers, the lot - excellent. the price was 2 euros for 15 mins which was alright. great way for keeping in touch with home!

The M  (13 August 2002)

Hi from The Mousehouse. In response to Jim's kind words, we would just like to point out that he should be complaining about his salary and not our prices, we know they are fair. There is no sign outside stating that you must sit here a full hour every day. There is a minimum 15min. charge of 2 Euros, and a lot can be done in this time period. Prices thereafter, are adjusted accordingly per every 5 mins. (always rounded off to the customers benefit). Anyway, all comments (good and bad) are always welcome and each one taken under serious consideration. Thanks.

Jim   (06 August 2002)

sorry guys i was here for 3 mths and it is overly expensive i have to say,at 7euros per hour when local workers earn approx 20 per night ..that sums it up...

Rose-marie M  (10 July 2002)

Very good, just like at home. Fast connection, msn and icq installed. a few games on the computers. no limits on access i dont think. 7 euro per hour for access is very good. they give you a little ticket when u go in, then you take it to the till when you are finished. they tell you how much it is. very good.

Stuart C  (28 October 2001)

Dropped in two evenings running to use MSN Messenger to chat to a friend back in the UK. Fast clean connection - so much so she thought I'd come back home early! Friendly helpful staff, but they leave you alone unless you need them. very good place. (Were there between 24 Sept and 1 Oct)

Philip L  (08 September 2001)

Jim M  (23 August 2001)

Greek hospitality at it finest! The big guy that is 2 1/2 meters tall, he is the greatest! Anything you want he will do it for you! Right then! Not tomorrow or the next day at that very moment you ask him for something! Alot of people think that the Greeks are very laid back and sometimes even alittle lazy, not this guy! Terrific people person, especially with americans!

Karon-anne S  (31 July 2001)

In answer to Liz - our cafe is open from 08:30 - 12:00 (sometimes even later). We have ten computers, so waiting is usually very rare. However, having said that our busiest time is between 7pm - 10.30pm, so you were to have have trouble finding a pc, it would be during these hours. Looking forward to seeing you. Happy holidays. Karon-anne

Liz L (29 July 2001)

Does the cafe get busy? Do you have to wait around for the computers?

Steve J  (29 July 2001)

The Mouse House is brilliant. The staff are friendly and the computers are easy to use. All you have to do is clik on Internet Explorer and you get the Hotmail site so it's easier to check ur emails. The prices are very cheap : 15 mins - 700 Drachmas 20 mins - 900 " " 1 hour - 1200 " " Also there is playstations for younger kids to play on.

Hi from The Mousehouse. We would like to thank you for your good and not so good comments - they are all taken into serious consideration. C. Chrispis, you have confused us (we don't yet have a web site!). With regards to the speed, we have ensured that we have the fastest connection presently available in Zante - we cannot be held responsible for the Greek Telephone Department's shortcomings. As mentioned, it was probably just a busy hour. Have a great summer. We look forward to assisting many of you over the season.

Webmaster=c C  (25 June 2001)

Well, i must say i do a lot of work on sites and this one is actually quite interactive - but the ui of the site is poor, you guys must make it more interesting and nice-er to the eye anyways the place rocks

Christopher B  (24 June 2001)

Oh dear ... used it twice, transfers were painfully slow. Was wondering if half the island were sharing the ISDN 128K link on a network ! Perhaps it was just a bad time when I used it. I was only trying to recover and send a few email via my own ISP web mail in UK. Didn't use Hotmail. PC's seemed OK.

Helen T  (08 June 2001)

Agree with what's been said - Staff are laid back enough and connection was no problem.

Missyb   (07 June 2001)

Friendly staff, computers pretty up to date( no 486's hehe) at least 10 stations and 3 playstation consoles. No facility to burn CD's yet(See George at the Jungle bar for that) clean, friendly fast enough (128k...) worth a visit for the Geek in Greece who can't survive without their email.....Prices pretty average same as England £4-5 an hour roughly. also offer printing services.

Karon-anne S  (22 May 2001)
