Hii, I'm 19 and went to Zante last summer. IT WAS AMAZING. I stayed in Villa Aliri & loved it. Bar open all night, cheese toasties all night, it was immense. Free shots at half 7 in morning when we got there & all staff are lovely. I really hope to be there all summer this year and work out there. Don't let the bad reviews of villa aliri put you off, its standard accomodation, but BAR ALL NIGHT is just the best!

Booked my girly holiday today for 2weeks staying at the villa aliri. there is 4 of us 17year olds going.. going on the 19th august for the person below flying from manchester!! dont really know what to expect of this accommodation after reading reviews but hopefully wont be init much as we will be out every night :)

Going to the villa aliri on the 26th of august 2010 this year with 5mates, so 6 of us were all 17 and really looking foward to going crazy after finishing A-levels. Any tips? and the reviews of the hotel are so off putting, but were 'ARD so we can rough it. p.s. anyone going on august 26th aswell from manchester??

Came back from Laganas, Zante a couple of days ago, stayed at Villa Aliri.

right, first off all, sorry to say but hotel aliri is an absolute dump. the rooms are shocking. cold showers all the time, leaking taps, mouldy sinks and a fridge which is about as temperamental as john mcenroe getting a bad line call. how they can expect anyone to successfully cook anything on the joke of a stove is anyone’s guess. perhaps this is the plan as the owners frown upon you eating and drinking in your own rooms at certain times and will try anything to get u to buy from the poolside bar.

 in two weeks we were given fresh towels and bed sheets 2 times. both times our towels and bed linen were changed they were actually dirtier than the sheets they were replacing!!!

despite all of the negative comments we actually really enjoyed our time spent in laganas. i would deffo return, just not with the same hotel. the nightlife is very good with a lot of variety, good spacious clubs and decent music. the food is also top notch and very reasonably priced. weather…..goes without saying really. the one good thing about the hotel aliri is the dude working the night shift on the bar…. an absolute ringer for mclovin aka superbad. provided us much entertainment at 6am after a heavy sesh!! also security is non-existent and they are laid back when it comes to making noise in the early hours and bringing guests back!

laganas is a great place with a warm and friendly atmosphere, perfect for a hol away with mates. if u are staying at the aliri though beware!! all of the above comments are well founded and true to our experience. in fairness the hotel olympia saved our holiday, we used all of their facilities and only used our hotel to sleep.

Nowhere near as bad as ppl r saying like! Went for 2 wks n got bk on Monday n LOVED IT! It was a bit scruffy when we first went in, but I probably wouldn't mind staying again! I think ppl just expect too much! Ur hardly in ur room anyway! And the Olympia pool is only 2 minutes away if u dnt like hte Aliri pool that much! Gutted we're back! x x

hiya every1!! me n 2 ov my girl m8s went to laganas in sept o7! was a mint holiday!!!! there were alot ov bad reviews about villa aliri where we were stayin bt wasnt as bad as a thought!! fair enuf the showers were freezin, all i say is jus dnt go in first!!! the pool was cold bt we used the pool accross the way (hotel olympia) was much beta! as for the nightlife, well wat can i say, it was ace!!! aswell id advise to do the whole pakage from the 18-30 club reps,(which by the way were pretty crap they were always late)  where ya pay bout 200 euros for the week an ur nites r all organised for ya, plus with most ov em u get free bar in most ov the clubs, so really u get ya moneys worth outa it, i no i did!!!!  there was   a popcorn party which was ace an other 1's so id highly recomend goin! while we were ther aswell we rented a quad bike, which if u were goin t get 1 u av t take ya drivin license, bt it was ace goin on em! easier way ov getin where ya want to! frm where we were stayin it was bout 10-15mins walk bt dint really seem like it! the best clubs we went to was rescue,zeroes an there was 1 that we went to on the last night called amnesia, we gt the tickets off this man who came round to the hotel, that was ace n we ad loadsa pictures taken, an they put em all on a cd for us for bout ten euros! n e way that enuf bout my holiday, i wud highly recomend goin! so av fun an dnt do n e fin i wudnt do haha! x 

Villa Aliri what a place! Good luck to any one who stays there... Its not to bad as long as all you want is a bed and a COLD shower. The reps were pretty boring but the night life is amazing... Most of the trips were good but fairly over priced we always drank before them. . . Zoe

woop woop... villa aliri isnt great but its a good laf... the bar is 24 hour(even tho it shudnt b) meet some amzin pepo out der n im really missin it.if ur goin here soon dont jump in the pool afta 8 ur skin goes brown..but its all good.also u beta get usd to cold showers!! zante is amazin tho and u must go to cherry bay!!!!! cherry bay all the way..woop woop. im sure it wont b long till wer back.id defo recomend goin on the 18 - 30 trips and nites out...the popcorn party was the best.haha.iv neva lafd so much!

worse hotel ive ever stayed at, put up bed had no undersheet, not that bothered personally but i know some would be. 18-30 reps were crap, never told us of times to meet up etc, and seemed only interested in the people that had booked up loads of trips with them.

just back fromthe villa aliri yesterday and i miss it so much. it's a s**t hole but for a club 18-30 place you can't expect much. it is the only place with a 24hour bar and no security guard on sight so you can get other people up to your room. it is at the very start of the strip so you might not make it to the end if you are doing a bar crawl. i recommend that you take what the 18-30 rep has to offer because they do show you a great time. our rep was a guy called fitzy from glasgow and he is amazin however he got promoted and its now james, who is a good laugh as well. places i would recommend are, ghetto, rescue, la bamba, central, medousa, sizzle and millagro.

Me n my girls are jst back from Zante a few days ago...had the best 2 weeks ever!!! We were all dreadin the Aliri after the comments we had read.. It is very basic but its all you need, the atmosphere at the Aliri is brilliant and wee george the owner, we loved him! Its a lively place so if your looking for a wild holiday then the Aliri it is. I would defo recommend it and to be honest, if I went back to Zante i would want to stay back at the Aliri!!!!!xx

hey me an my mate r just bk from the villa aliri, it is a complete  sh*t hole!!! however the night life in zante is amazing cant complain, miss it already!!! most of the bars are good we had our favourites, relax and three lions :) cherry bay and x paradiso are good aswell!! i recommend them to anyone goin! have fun x

Just spent the last week at the villa aliri and it aint as bad as u think really enjoyed myself and everyone is really nice ok so u do get cold showers and no shower curtain but who cares, zeros and cherry bay the best places to go out on the strip, the pool is ok as well and your rep will make sure you are having a good time

orite me n me m8 just got back from aliri next week its ok for wa ya use it for but other wise its a s**t hole lol and watch out for george the owner he gets affended easy n hits people with tables n chairs just cause they ran about naked lmao wounder who it was and when u go on the strip watch all the little gypsy kids they will pick poket ya i got me wallet and phone pinched little c**nts other wise enjoy ya self

me and 4 mates went and stayed in the villa aliri it is alrite actually everything is cheaply done liek the swimming pool is s**t, jacuzzi is ok but always cold the showers have no shower curtins haha floor gets soaked and also you cant flush toilet roll down the toilet u have to put it in a bin so it was bti s**t gets f**kign hot in the rooms air con is 35 euros a week, fan is 15 euros a week and everyoen get mosquito plugs one of my mates got bitten 24 times in one night. you wnna knw anyfin more bout hotel add me to msn mrocko2002@hotmail.com
