Giorgios Restaurant

Having been recommended to us by many people, including locals, we decided we must try Giorgios before the end of our holiday. On arrival, we were greeted at the entrance and encouraged to eat there, we saw a busy restaurant and good atmosphere. So far, so good! Initially, there was a prompt, efficient, friendly service and our order was taken and delivered promptly. When we decided to order an extra drink however, our order never arrived. On completing our meal,we asked for the dessert menu, not once but twice and it never came, even after being asked if we were "being looked after". Having given up hope on the desert menu, we asked for the bill, as it became obvious they would prefer to fill the table with the next round of diners. The bill was not forgotten, unlike our orders, and came very promptly without the usual complimentary liqueur.

We visited Tsilivi in July 09 and had a fantastic time. We visited Giorgios on our 3rd night and didn't eat any where else for our remaining 8 days. The food was fantastic. We did not have 1 disappointing meal. We have 2 young children and the staff accommodated the menu to suit them. As well as the food being fantastic a mention has to go out to all of the staff who made us very welcome every night, especially Billy who has become a good friend even now we are back in the UK. So a big thank you to Billy, Andreas and all of the staff at Giorgios for making our holiday a special one. For anyone visiting Tsilivi please make sure you visit Giorgios, you won't be dissapointed. See you in the winter Billy.

Just returned home last night, great place to eat, we ate there 3 times during our stay my favourite the peppered fillet wonderful the ribs to start with also superb also the chicken piri pire comes highly recommended from my partner and son as does the garlic bread and pizzas. Can not wait to get back there in 6 weeks time.

came back on friday mornin and i miss it already been 6 times to tsilivi and always went to your resturant, coz its outstandin! love the 2 twin brothers there amazin .. especially the cheeky lookin one which me and ma mum love   hes the one on the left hand side of me on the pic !

We made great friends with Billy and Ollie  Every night we would meet them for a drink in  'Ark' really everyone you will want to adopt them they are so sweet and funny and amazing. in fact EVERYONE in Tsilivi are really friendly.

We miss you already  we didnt know what to eat last night! hehe

Come back 2 weeks ago after an amazing holiday on the island went to giorgios many times in our 2 weeks food always amazing and the staff you couldnt fault them, could not possibly do any more for us, going to adopt them as family i thinks.

Hello Everyone. Me and My Boyfriend Jerome have literally jus returned home from Zante today and we have had a great time. It was our first time in Greece and have to say that we loved it. We went to Giorgios on a number of occasions and the food was ubelievable! "Billy" and "Ollie" are genuily accomodating people and very welcoming. We went to Giorgios for my dad's 50th birthday and all the family were there. Billy and the team made every effort to ensure that we had a qualty night and we thank them for that! Billy is actualy a friend of my Dad's from the UK and we hope to share a beer (or three) with him at theirs later on in the year. Great time had by all. Keep up the good work!! Sam and Jerome x

Hello to the team at Giorgio's, we have just returned from our second holiday to Tsvilli and i can not praise Giorgio's enough, we ate there nearly every night as no where else can compare, the whole team is so friendly and generally care about their customers, thats what makes them so special, the food is second to none!!! They made so many of our nights in Zante, and on the last night they invited my Fiancee Jon to play football with them and some other guests, they took us to Zante town (at one in the morning so it would be cooler, 30 degrees lol!!!) they made our last night and our whole holiday, i would go back to Tsvilli for the restaurant alone, they put everyone else to shame!!! I hope you guys have a great Summer and we cant wait to return next year!!!!

After eating at Georgios many times last year, we returned this year to find that it had gone slightly downhill.. The food wasnt as nice as before and both me and my partner had a very bad stomache the day after eating here!! Maybe they have changed their chef who knows but we didnt return after that, which is a shame as the staff here are lovely!

just back from tsilivi and spent another 2 weeks eating at giorgios.this is my 3rd year of doing this and the food,service and staff are first class.special hello to Andreas and his brother looking forward to next year for more tasty food.

Hi to the lovely twin brothers and all the staff at Giorgios in Tsilivi. We were there 8th to 19th June and ate here 3 nights but wish we had been more. We tried following a recommendation on the internet before travelling and were very impressed. The food is superb - massive portions and excellent quality. Hi guys  just returned from two weeks and went to giorgios almost every nght, food was fantastic excellent portions and the steak was mouth watering.  The staff are so friendly, helpful and always up for a laugh especially the twins.  I would like to say thank you to all the staff for making our holiday that extra bit special and will be out to see you all soon.  p.s make sure you have plenty of steak in lol xxxx

We just come back from Zante and I mut say that the Giorgios is the best taverna on the island, this is a 20 minute walk from where we were staying(mavrikos) however it was definately worth the walk. there were 11 of us in our party, (6 adults 5 kids), everyone of us enjoyed our huge meals, the best for me was the chicken stamna!!!!!!!!!!!! I had it twice!!! (on seperate occasions of course). the staff were very friendly and helped with everything. I would recommend that you visit this taverna, everone goes on about Popeyes being good they must not of visited Giorgios as this knocks Popeyes out of the water for taste and value for money!!

this is by far the best restaurant in tsilivi,went three times,the staff are brilliant,especially the two twin brothers.

Giorgios, opposite another good restaurant - Zeus, is very good.  Huge selection of food. Huge portions.  Friendly staff.  Just a shame about the music - tradional rather than Elvis would be nice..... Would definately go back.

Vistited this amazing resturaunt twice in one week, The diverse menu boasts something for everyone and the speedily delivered food is not only very abundant but also of very high standard. The attentive staff are caring, alert and fantastic company. A must for everyone to visit.

If you're searching for a place for good value for money plus entertainment from the staff especially the trio and I am referring to the two twins and papa, then Giorgios is the place to visit. The portions were huge and I mean HUGE!!! I must of visited Giorgios 4 times during my 1 week stay and tried out all their seafood dishes –  they were absolutely mouth watering and delicious! I really rate this place so thumbs up from me!

We have just returned from our 10th holiday in Tsilivi, we love the resort but especially love the food at Georgios, we ate there 11 out of 14 nights ! the staff are wonderful and even managed to embarrass me on my birthday with a cake and singing !!! Gorgios is alwaysbusy which is a great sign and the food is superb --especially the chicken souvlaki! and to finish with the "special" strawberries and ice cream ! we will be back next year, good luck with the rest of the summer

Great menu, good food, try the Sirloin steaks with pepper sauce. Big portions are also a highlight here.

Best Restuarant in Tsilivi

Georgios is a great place to eat, always busy, so thats a good sign in its self.
We went a few times last year and also a few times this year.
Well worth a visit.
Dont know where the twins that work there get their energy from.

i love all the guys at giorgio's they arent just waiters and cooks they are like family!! love them all 2 bits!  cant w8 to go bk =] xx thanks for everythin! jemima, george xx

The best restaurant in Tsilivi. Just got back yesterday =[ Which sucks.

Went to Giorgios twice whilst I was there, and both times was great.

We would go at about 9. It would get very busy in there but the service is great and the waiters are legends.

The twin waiters are amaze!

Just retruned yesterday from Zante Boo Hoo!!!

I have just got back from Tsilivi today and have to say that Giorgios was my favourite restaurant.

We visited there on the first night and the staff were so friendly and the food so good and reasonably priced that we visited there on our last night too.

Both meals I had were excellent- and the menu has a great variety of food from traditional greek dishes to curries and kebabs! There's a bit of something for everyone!!

ate at Giorgios twice. The wine was good, the food was plentiful and excellent (swordfish was superb). the staff are very friendly, and welcomed us as if they had known us all their lives.

 We have just returned home from a two week holiday and during that time ate at Georgios 9 times, the food is excellent and portions are too large for me ! it gets very busy after 8 o'clock and obviously you have to wait, we always went in about 7.30 ish and never had a problem, the staff are really friendly and most of whom were there last year , the restaurant has changed hands this summer but the food is just as good, we believe it is owned by Stamnas which is next to The Tsilivi Admirals Hotel.

Ate here twice - had the Cajun chicken and the Fillet steak. Both times the food was excellent and the staff were really good to us.

We only ate here once because the place was packed. After getting a table straightaway it was dissapointing that it took ages to get served then when you finished your meal ages for a bill to arrive after asking for it. Okay the place is always busy which is a good sign but we like to eat more or less straightaway not half an hour after ordering. Especially with two young children that are hungry.
