The front part of te Zante Doro Studios all have air conditioning at a cost of �10 a day. No ceiling fan but you can hire a fan at I think �10 per week.

Each room has a fridge but no kettle. Not on any Greek island will you find a kettle in the rooms so your either have to boil the water in a saucepan or take a travel kettle.

The showers are always hot no matter what time of day it is. It takes a bit of fiddling with the taps to get the temperature just right

The bins are emptied every day but you will have to buy toilet paper as they are not too forthcoming with giving them away. There is shop on the corner about 30seconds away.

Peter the owner & his family are quite friendly & helpful. They have a room as an office on site but they do not live there.

Various age groups stay at the complex. as it is next door to a Twentys complex it can at times a bit noisy about 4am or 6am depending on whether it is a weekday or a weekend from them coming back from the bars & clubs. The main noise that can get really irritating is the mopeds & quad bikes that go up & down the streets but you would get that anywhere on the island

Note you have stayed here recently. Am booked to stay here in August for a week. Glad you enjoyed your stay. I was wondering if you could be so kind as to answer some of questions below that I have about these apartments. Hope you can put me at ease about having booked to stay here>

Do the rooms have a Kettle & Fridge? How are the showers for hot water? Are the bins in your room emptied every day and are the owners quite friendly? Do they live within the Apartments? Are there various age groups of people that stay here? Is it quite peaceful for sleeping later on at night?

Just got back from Zante and had a fab time!!!!

For anyone thinking of staying at these apartments I would definitely recommend it! The location is great - right next to the beach and less than 5 mins from the main strip of bars.

Although the apartments were basic they were very clean - the owner was good, didn't really bother us at all but you knew where he would be if he had any probs!

Overall the apartments were good and the resort fantastic...would def recommend to anyone thinking of going!

Hi Claire just replying to your question...We stayed at Zante Doro in 2002. You can see the beach from ur room!!! Its basic and small but just what you need... you don't get bothered by anyone. We went back to Zante again last year and are going again on 19th June...Can't wait!!!

Zante Doro is about 10 min walk to strip... if you can make it wivout getting plastered on the way!!!

we are thinking of booking up for next july early i know but just got back and had the best 2 weeks. does anyone know if the rooms have a fridge as our last hotel did not and was horrible not being able to have a cold dring of water after a night out. have fun to all those people who are off to zante soon and say a big hi to jimmy and chambers in zeros bar they are the best entertainment in laganas ask them for a bar stomp worth seeing.

FOR THE PRICE, I'DE RECOMMENT THEM.

THE ROOMS ARE BASIC AND CLEAN, AND ARE CLEANED ON A DAILY BAISIS.

LOCATION IS GREAT, ONLY 1 min WALK TO BEACH AND 5 min WALK TO MAIN STRIP AND NITE CLUBS.

SOME WORK WAS CARRIED NEXT DOOR, BUT I ASKED FOR A FRONT ROOM WERE NOISE WAS VERY MINIMAL.

THEY DONT HAVE A SWIM POOL, BUT YOU CAN USE THE POOL NEXT DOOR WITH FREE SUNBEDS.

Arrived back yesterday, after having an interesting 2 weeks!
The apartments are located very close to the beach and main street so convienient enough to hit the main street.
It is approximately a five minute stroll down the beach to the strip avoiding the PR's on all the pubs/restaurants etc, or alternatively a five minute walk by road not as many Pr's attacking you.
The apartments are basic but clean, we booked with Olympic and we were informed that there was dormant building works in the vincity. If your looking for a quiet holiday forget it, the building work was far from dormant on the hotel next door a soon to be 18-30's hotel. they were shouting and drilling from early morning to late at night not good if you want a lie in or have a bad head from the night before.
It's worthwhile asking for a street view when booking the apartments as they get all the afternoon sun and well the street view is much more pleasent than the rooms on the rear of the building you see more building works and a bomb site literally.
The is a nice bar next door the apartments NJoy they are friendly have reasonably priced drinks but we found even cheaper drinks at chiellos bar go out of the apartments and turn left at the road continue walking and it is near the parrots bar.good for going out for a drink before hitting the main street as they were very expensive drinks.
Overall we had a resonably good time!

We got back yesterday after an interesting two weeks!! the apartments are very clean - maid service daily and literally only a couple of minutes from the beach. Close enough to the main strip for the night life and far enough away for a decent nights sleep. There is also a small shop on the corner for supplies.
