Mill Bar spot-on this season as usual.  Best breakfasts and lunches we had (and we tried a few )

visited the mill bar for the first time this year and what a fantastic place day or night,the staff are really friendly and the food is top notch.

WHAT AN AMAZING BREAKFAST.

we went to the greek night there it was great they even got my daughter a birthday cake we were all up dancing

i'd just like to say yet again me and my family had the most amzing time in zante thanks to the one and only mill bar. until this year we hadn't seen the pool and the roof top garden, i was totally amazed when i saw the brilliant transformation. it looks lovely and its a great place to relax and soak up the sun during the day and also to go and have a drink and a good laugh at night. the greek night on a friday night is one of the best nights ive ever been on. all the staff in the mill bar are really friendly and work hard to make your holiday one of the best. thanks to you all, and we'll definately be back soon, i can guarantee that, thanks again for a fantastic 2 weeks

we went in twice and were surprised to see how empty it was compared to prev years

As you stand at the bottom of the dusty road it's hard to envisage this as the best bar (that also serves food during the day) in the area. Julie and her Greek husband have worked hard to create a lovely place to relax, eat, drink and swim in their new pool. They also do a cracking Greek night, food is OK but the dancing is fantastic, a great lively night out !

We have spent 4 weeks in Zante this year, 2 weeks in June and 2 weeks in September. Most of our time was spent at the Mill Bar, most recently having our Blessing there which was absolutely wonderful. Our thanks must go to Julie and Spiros who arranged everything. It was a wonderful day. If anyone is thinking of getting married or having a blessing, see Julie and Spiros at the Mill Bar. They are wonderful people as are, Matt, Becky, Sue and Les and the rest of the team.

The Mill bar is really great, for all you people asking who the new people are, why didn't you just ask them, they are Matt, Becky, Sue and Les, and are a great asset to the bar.

The Greek night is probably the best in Zante, Spiros and Julie certainly pull out all the stops to make it a fantastic night. 

Incase you read this Spiros our picture didn't make it home safely, never mind you live and learn!

Don't think either of them were barstaff in Leicester, but they both fit in really well and the Mill Bar is as great as ever.

I have also been going to the mill bar for a few years and think it is the best bar that I have been to in Zante especially with mad chrissie there but who are these to new staff were they bar staff in leicestert aswell?

THE MILL BAR IS A GREAT PLACE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AND THEY MAKE EVERYONE WELLCOME.THEY ORGANISED A GREEK BLESSING FOR FRIENDS OF MINE AND IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DAYS I HAVE HAD.THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE AT THE MILL BAR. SPIROS I OWE YOU A DRINK.

Are they a good laugh and where have they come from. how come they all of a sudden got a job there.

Matt is behind the bar in the evenings.  His girlfriend Becky is on during the day together with Sue.  No Toyah this year.  And yes, it's still as good.

Been to The mill bar a few times just wondered who the new staff on there are because I'm going again soon and wonder if it is still as good with them there.

The Mill bar is just up the road on the beach front, It is paradise what a selection of quality loungers and poolside furniture+ lush pool  "if it was my place i would'nt let any body in and keep it for my self" What a lovely upstairs area whith fantastic views.

The Mill Bar is fabulous! We enjoyed spending loads of time here a few weeks ago. The pool, sunbeds, rooftop garden and the staff, Julie, Spiros, Becky, Matt - everything is fantastic. Don't be put off by the driveway entrance - you will find paradise!

The Greek night was fantastic and excellnt value. We took our 2 children, 11 & 8 and they had a great night. Do not miss a visit to The Mill Bar - you will return! Wish we were still there

Had a wonderful time yet again at the mill bar last year. I am looking for julies email address if anyone knows it as i am trying to arrange my wedding for august this year and she offered to help if we got stuck! Spiros & Julie were brilliant hosts and made our holiday extra special, everyone really friendly and can't wait to visit next year to enjoy some more Mill Bar hospitality and let Spiros continue training probably his tallest trainee bar girl.If your feeling strong suggest you challenge him to an arm wrestle - but be gracious in defeat. Go along and enjoy - we did!! (and ignore the comment from people who think you need to be drunk to enjoy yourself)

The Greek night was a let down after people built it up so much, the same dance over and over, Flame dance ok, plate smashing 6 plates wow, sorry but you have to be drunk to enjoy this.

Julie,Spiros family and staff made us so welcome even to the point of Mo kindly dropping us home at the end of the most entertaining and enjoyble Greek night to save our children aged 9 and 7 the long but enjoyable walk back to Old Alikanas. The food and service is second to none. We were fortunate enough to discover this wonderful oasis on the second day of our two week holiday. So welcoming were Julie and Spiros that our children entrusted them with their Lilo to be looked after for when we will undoubtedly return again next year!!

If it is the only thing you do whilst on holiday in Alikanas you must visit the Mill. It is a haven of luxury, like an Oasis in the middle of the dessert. When you are at the Mill you find yourself transported to somewhere totally exotic! The pool is so clean, the furniture is just the best I have ever seen anywhere and the sunbeds could easily fit two people on them (especially newlyweds!). The food during the day was lovely and every meal we had there was just fantastic (especially the salads). I totally recommend the Greek night on a Friday - do book - as they do turn people away. It is just such a fun evening and audience participation is the name of the game - so dancing shoes on everyone. I was 40 on Greek night and was presented a bottle of champagne by Julie and Spiros and was sung happy birthday to - it is a night I will not forget in a hurry. Thank you Julie and Spiros for what you did, I was most touched. All of the staff are by far the most friendliest we have ever come across in Greece and we thank you all for the most fantastic time.

A really good place to enjoy yourself. The greek night must not be missed both for the food and the dancing. We all had a great time ,even the kids.

What a great bar, we were made to feel very welcome, all the staff were great, hope you had a good time at the olympics Julie. If we return to Zante we will see you again.

Really glad we found Mill Bar. Julie, Spiros and their staff make you very, very welcome. Great food and atmosphere. Do go to the Greek night - food was good and without a doubt they were the best dancers I have seen. Make sure you have your dancing shoes on because you must join in!!!!! See you all next July.

Just got back from a fantastic 2 week holiday at the Andonis apartments in Alykanas. We discovered the Mill bar on the first afternoon and although we looked at others it was the best by far. The brand new pool area is perfectly placed in a real sun trap with plenty of loungers for us oldies and a fab pool for the kids (and us!) Bar food is a rare combination of being cheap but v tasty. Add to all this the owners and staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and you have the perfect place to relax any time of day or night. Try it once - you'll go back, guaranteed.

Wot a relaxing place in the day time, you can just go and relax by their pool or go and chill out on the roof top lounge area, try the greek nites on fridays, also there is a pool tournament on mondays its 3 euros to enter and winner takes all, watcch out for me behind the bar there next summer, hey spiros n julie hope u both r well.

This bar doesn't serve carlsberg, but if it did it would probably be the best bar in the world. ( just kidding, it is the best bar in the world)

you really have to try the greek night here on a friday , it does live up to its name and is the best in the resort the whole of the family were involved in the dancing . Good food brilliant entertainment all in all a lovely place

this place is well worth a visit with excellent service from Julie and Spiros and the friendly staff, the greek night on a friday is not to be missed. Great pool area with great sunbeds and an excellent view from millys roof top

It took us a week before we visited - BIG MISTAKE! The bar is definitely the most comfortable and pleasant one we found and the pool area is luxurious - a tremendous place to spend time relaxing and sunbathing. Julie and Spiros are very helpfull and will make you most welcome. Almost forgot; do not miss the Greek Night (held on Fridays). Tremendous fun and a terrific atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said - it is just brilliant - my second home!

The panoramic view from the upper floor of Milly's is beautiful and those sunbeds around the pool - wow. The Greek banquet on Monday and the famous Mill Bar Greek Night on Friday are not to be missed.

Hi anyone that is going to the Mill Bar it has recently been extended it looks lovely. The people who run the bar are really nice and friendly and will make you feel very welcome. Give the Greek night a try i thought it was great. The food and the service is great.

Like i said before go to the Mill Bar you will have fun and be made very welcome.

Have to agree with all comments made re mill bar. Julie and Spiros are wonderful. If you need help with anything they will do their best. Have made many friends in this bar over the years. Their greek night is by far the best,(audience participation plays a huge part, so be warned!)I advise to book early. Will be back again this year in July, cant wait!

The Mill Bar is the place to go in Alykanas. Please don't be put off by the walk up the drive from the beach. It is well worth it and you will be made to feel so welcome by Julie and Spiros. The Greek night and Lamb Spit roast are 2 definite musts.......easily the best in the resort. You will need to book as they always have to turn people away. They also have a fun quiz night and numerous other events each week. This is the place to go to escape the midday sun and get a delicious lunch and a cold beer, and also where to go and chill out in the evening. You will not be disappointed!

We came to Greece on the 20th of July and met up with my uncle berry who went a week before us and we found greece quite boring but wen he took us to the mill bar my life just livened up it was fantastic but for that i have to thank Julie Spiros Nico and pascarli .you might remember us becuase in September your going to stay with my uncle berry when u come over i really hope to see u soon bye thanx for an exellent time

The mill bar was great and julie and spiros were great aswell cant wait till i go back and meet them again so they can make our holiday 100 TIMES better again

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Mill. Nothing was too much trouble and the Greek night plus the lamb spit BBQ nights made our holiday. I would thoroughly recommend it.

We loved your food (breakfast and lunch time snacks) and your Greek night is brilliant a must for everybody visiting Alykanas & Alykes!!! It is an absolute bargain at only 11 Euros for adults and 5 for children. The dancers were fantastic, as was the BQ. You were by far the friendliest bar that we visited in Alykanas, keep up the good work and thanks again for your hospitality.

Hello Julie, Spiros, the boys and the rest of the crew from Iain and Carol-Anne in Aviemore.By far the best bar in town, excellent greek night and a tricky quiz, but the best place for lunch.Bring on the Prawn rolls and Lowenbrow, viva ecosse.

Greek night was very good with most of the audience taking part. Watch out for the flame dancing!
