Had 3 lovely meals here during our 2 week stay. Would recommend trying the steak night and the chicken curry is pretty decent too. We ate here on the night of our daughters 2nd birthday and had pre-ordered a cake. We were served with a delicious homemade chocolate flake cake with candles that went down a treat. The breakfasts here are top notch too and as good as any I've had in the UK, the cosy specizl at 5 would keep you going all day. A big thank you to Julie & Marion for some special memories from Liam, Lucy & Molly!!
i love cosy corner you can not beat the cosy corner i love it the food is nice and they are the most frendly ist people iv met in greece.
doreen and myself had some fabulous food there you cant beat the resteraunt as the service and friendship shown bye the owners are second to none recomend there fillet steaks they melt in your mouth and so tender with all the trimmings this was a very special meal all other meals are the same so when in alykanas go to this resteraunt and see for yourself what a lovely place thankyou cosy corner
Only visited once but what a fantastic place, typical Brit on holiday so had a curry(fantastic). The only downside for me was that i never made another trip(sorry about that Shortie). The night i went i had company and he really enjoyed the food and the whole atmosphere of this fantastic Cosy Corner of Alykanas.
Fantastic food fantastic hosts you must eat here cant rave enough about this place its a real cosy corner
Returned from Alykanas on the 7th June/2012. Where do I start. The breakfasts are superb. The sunday lunch was superb and if you like pies this is the place to eat. Thanks to Shortie and the gang. It does'nt get any better.
Once again we took the walk from Alykes to visit Shortie and crew and we weren't disappointed. The welcome was as good as the meal! I settled for his now famous 'meatballs in special sauce' and it was fantastic. 'She who must be fed' had the chicken curry and cleared the plate. All in all, another great time at the Cosy. See you next year!
Well, it just gets better here. in just over a year The Cosy Corner has gone from being a great restaurant to being the best in the area. The food is stunning, the staff are so welcoming you feel like family and the prices are the best around too.
Hi every one hope your all well, thanks for a great time the other week &'the food wasn't bad,"Joking "
Hi Geof, it's Paul and Karen calling, if you would like to send me an e-mail on email@example.com we can catch up on lost time, it would be good to talk to you again. all the best Paul @ Karen.
At home, weetabix in hand, a stone heavier, all due to that evil cosy corner!! On a diet and torturing myself by dreaming of those amazing breakfasts!!
We visited cosy corner pretty much every day of our holiday and loved everything we ate there!! The service by Andy was always upbeat and enthusiastic and he was so dedicated to providing the best possible service that he would never dream of visiting every bar on the way home in the evenings..... and then be knackered and unable to do the washing up!! Andy you were always a star and made us feel as relaxed as you were within minutes of our arrival! One thing that I have to urge everyone not to do though.... and that's order a Zombie when Andy is around! That cocktail was a killer!
Also a mention for little Chris, who never failed to promote the corner and give us leaflet upon leaflet, even though we went there everyday!! Chris didn't have a hard job really, handing out leaflets and chatting up the girl from the lemon tree!! Although if it wasn't for him we probably would not have discovered the wonderful acoustic sounds of the Thomson Twins. They were fab and we had a couple of great evenings with good company and good music.
Also should let you all know that the corner also has great food in the evenings, not just the specials they advertised but also they managed to pull off some greek dishes really well!
Thanks guys, you were all great and were a high point to the hols. Jess misses marmite, tigs and gremlin the most and I bet they miss her contibution of ham in the mornings!!

True to their word they were still serving when we arrived late (10.15pm). Didn't have any of the much anticipated pie left at that time but plenty good alternatives. It is popular and they do run out of their best dishes but if you let them know what you want they'll save it for you. Very friendly and accommodating, good english and american breki's too.
Hi to all at the Cosy Corner, went to Zante for the first time this summer. Got back to Ireland on the 02nd July with many happy memories. Thanks a mill for the chips, mushey peas and onions. Mugs of tea, village bread and most of all the welcoming personalities of you all. Great place, cats and all. Hope to go back again soon. 10 out of 10 all round, well done. Mag & Pat
What a great bunch of people at the Cosy Corner. Very helpful and friendly.
cannt wait to get here on the 8th July staying at the whitehouse studios next door we always have our first meal at the cosy corner hope its as good as we remember it take careJohn n Margxx
Thanks to Jules and Shortie for making us feel so at home, best grub on the island, yeah go and sample the various Greek dishes elsewhere but if you fancy a good feed of British fayre you must go to the Cosy Corner.
Thanks for a great week Shortie and Jules. We love Greece, but, like many others, struggle with the food being a fussy eater. I already have a craving for a giant cheese and bacon burger and Jill wanted a pie on the plane, but got a chicken meal in a baccy tin instead. We cant praise the food or hospitality enough, so glad we found you. I noticed that someone has also praised you highly but mentioned the cats. I would like to say that where ever we ate in alikanas there were cats in the restaurant. I know you dont own cats, but you make every effort to keep them away without being cruel. I do not particularly like cats, but I never saw anybody bothered by them. Hope to see you next year. PS I agree with the chap Zantes best breakfast.
