We've only ever been with mytravel and have NO complaint whatsoever. I guess sometimes things are bad luck but no. The staff in the Mytravel shop here are helpful, the check in staff at Birmingham airport were just as helpful and the flightattendants were lovely too. The food onboard was nice, and generally i would prefer to use mytravel. AND if that's not good enough, on return from Zakynthos airport, one with such a bad rep, we even took off ONE HOUR EARLY!
overall an average service, flight going was ok and comming back was ok so no real problems there, we paid for driver to collect us on transfer and it cost bout an extra £30, not sure would do it again though.
we booked as a last minute and paid bout £600 for us two for two weeks in diana palace in argassi, if i had paid full price i would be compaining my head off by now as hotel was rubbish. it's not lowest of low but is below average, there were lots of faults with room and the main one being lack of clean bedding etc. we had bedding and towels with fake tan on them & once with blood on bedding. should not get this with four star even if it's a greek 4 star. dont go on info or pics about this hotel that is provided by airtours as rooms are not same as pictures, in fact far from pictures.
the rep at hotel was not the worlds best, however it was end of season and i dont think he was interested as he had probebly hit targets etc.check-in at manchester was good though, staff very helpfull and we used the new computer check-in and it took 7 minutes from us getting out of car to handing over cases. the new system scans passports and does an automatic check-in this way. while lots of people were in Q with rest of other few hundred we were on our way into duty free.

Having in the past travelled with Thomas Cook, we was a bit apprehensive of travelling with mytravel. HOWEVER, They were absolutly fantastic, from booking in the travel agents to the transfer rep, the rep based at the hotel to the air stewards, they were all fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Hence, we have booked with them again for next year and even got a discount for being repeat guests!! Will defo continue to use mytravel for the forseable future!!
I could not fault MYTravel from the moment we checkind in to the moment we got off the plane to come home.
We travelled with Direct Holidays (Part of MyTravel) so had a MyTravel rep who was fantastic and helped us out so no complaints here. We had a fab holiday and can't wait to return.

Hi i was a rep in kalamaki for a while. and the comments you made are terrible. just remmember the reps try their best to make your holiday great. unfortunatly some things do go wrong that can happen in anything you do in life. reps are humans to and need to also be treat with respect. If someone was shouting abuse at me i would not bat an eyelid at them weather it was my job or not, and am sure you wouldnt either. Please remmember that we have feelings too and we are the face of the company the things that go wrong isnt our personal fault. we all deal with difficult situations but try our best to resolve them but sometimes things arnt resolved unfortunatly. hope you enjoy your future holidays
THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BOOK EXCURSIONS WITH THE REPS, AS NOT ONLY ARE THEY EXPENSIVE BUT WHEN THINGS GO WRONG THEY DONT HAVE ANY AUTHORITY TO PUT THEM RIGHT, AS WE FOUND OUT ON OUR BOAT TRIP ON THE FIRST MONDAY OF OUR HOLS, ALL PARTYS ON THIS EXCURSION HAVE MADE A SERIOUS COMPLAINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!We have booked with My Travel every year but have found that they are getting worse, they need to teach some reps manners!!!!! The hotel and staff were great (Alykanas Village). We met some great people. But My Travel reps need a swift kick up the ......!!!!!
Found this company really good, staff were very imformative had no problems at all.
booked a holiday in september 2004 paid £1200 pound for 2 weeks in cavo doro hotel,two weeks before departure i was told that the apartment has changed due to not hitting sales targets,on arrival the rep tells me its due to over booking then other couples in the same postion tell me another number of reasons they have been told,my wife is 18 weeks pregnant and we were 4 miles approx away from the cavo doro which we booked in september on location mostly.
We have always travelled with Airtours before but will not again.Their service seems to go downhill a little more each year. To little or incomplete information about accomodation and very few sightings in resort their trips are over priced and can be booked cheaper on the local economy. On our return to the airport we got off the bus and "the rep" said "Manchester to my left and Luton to my right right follow me" and was gone without waiting for everyone to get their bags off the coach. We had to ask the Thomas Cook reps where to stand thay looked after us better in the time we were at the airport than airtours. THANK YOU THOMAS COOK!

Melissa if you were the rep there in July 2003 when the Skyservice plane failed on takeoff and we were put up in Argassi for the night then you were great, I posted at the time (see next page)!

Had superb holiday ending yesterday with Manos (part of Mytravel), it was fantasic value, beautiful flat and the reps were VERY helpful all the way through.

I totally diagree with derick and karrens comment as Gilly was not helpful at all . She was just after everyones money.There was a young couple with a small child who had a ear infection and she couldnt even tell them where the nearest chemist was.Gilly wasnt the least bit concerned.

We stayed at the windmill in Argassi and we could not fault the hotel or the rep (the 1st choice one) we never had the welcome meeting on time when we did see our rep michelle all she wanted to talk about was what a bad week she was having which got really boring after 20 minutes and if she doesn't like her job or company then im sure there are people that would love to take her place. To top it all we booked a trip with our rep which had a very early pick up time that she managed to get wrong! as you can guess not to happy! overall the Windmill was great the food was brill Dennis & Jenny fab and Liam (1st chioce rep) was polite and friendly shame he wasn't our rep

Where was our rep? We went to Argassi for 2 weeks early June. Were dumped at the roadside by the coach rep and told to check the board in the hotel to see when our welcome meeting was. At the other hotels, she went in with the guests.
To cut a very long story short, we never saw or heard from Airtours for the whole 2 weeks. There was a rep around as a notice went on the board to go to another hotel but there was no rep there either. We're supposed to be "guaranteed" a welcome meeting as part of our holiday package (what we paid for) but never heard a thing.
Disgusted with Airtours service - we had to ask reps from other operators about locations of cash machines, etc.
