Porto RomaLocation: At the end of the Vassilikos Peninsular Getting There: Follow the main road from Argassi. Go through the town of Vassilikos and continue until you come across what looks like a crossroads. Straight on is Gerakas, turning left will take you to Porta Roma Access: There is a short steep ramp leading directly onto the beach Sunbeds: Yes, but not many Toilets: Not on the beach itself Watersports: No Safe for Kids: Fairly safe, but some areas have a rocky bottom and there are sea urchins around the harbor end of the beach Food & Drinks: There is a taverna at the top of the cliffs surrounding the beach Turtles: No Seaweed: Some weed in the rocky areas Sand or Pebbles: A mixture of sand, pebbles and shingle extending a few metres into the water then mostly sandy bottom Car Parking: There is a nice parking area adjacent to the taverna with trees giving shade
